off the unemployment line!

Well, I'm back and I come bearing good news! I have a job! I started at Lowes Distribution Center in Valdosta, GA on July 6th. I'm in my 3rd week and so far so good! Everybody's been really helpful and have made me feel like part of the team. I drive what they call a 'walkie', which is basically a pallet jack like you'd see at Wal-Mart, only it's battery-powered and has a platform for me to stand on, and I deliver products to different trailers to be delivered to many different Lowes stores. The hours aren't the greatest in the world (6PM-4:30AM), but it's Mon.-Thurs, and I'm off Fri., Sat., and Sun, so that's good. And, it's hot as hell, but I'm used to that from my last job. I think I'm gonna like it there, and I hope it's the last job I ever have. I don't wanna go thru the unemployment bull$h*t again! Those 4 months felt like 4 years! And, the perks aren't bad either: 10% discount at Lowes stores, and apparently they give away free NASCAR tickets! My friends and family were really supportive while I was unemployed, I'm sure they were tired of me whining about not having a job! But, I couldn't have gotten thru it without them!
Last but not least: to those of you who are still unemployed, you're in my thoughts and prayers because I know what you're going through!!
