May 11th update
Well, it's time to update this blog again. So, let's see what's happened.
I was permanently laid off my job after 17 years on March 6th. It's kinda sucked sitting on my ass drawing unemployment for the last 2 months. I have an interview tomorrow, so we'll see happens with that.
Mom is doing great after back and hip surgeries in '08. She's started walking around the yard again. She's exhausted but most importantly, she's in no pain. My oldest brother has been having some health issues, but he seems to be on the road back, so that's good.
We went on a cruise March 27-April 4. Had a great time, the best part was when my brother and I rode ATVs all through St. Maarten. I'll take that over a couped-up bus tour anytime! I've also been to a couple of Mustang Sally concerts (go see them if they come to your area, they're an awesome group) and also took a trip to Bass Pro Shops up in Macon, GA after I won a $500 gift card.
Meanwhile, our new puppy, Oscar, is not a puppy anymore. He's about a 30-35 pound dog! He's hyper as hell, but we love him anyway! LOL He's a great pet. And, we still have our cats, Fox, Dolly, and Reba.
Last but not least, my 20-year reunion is June 12-13. That should be fun. Looking forward to seeing some old friends.
