The latest from my world.

Since I last blogged, Mom had her back surgery on July 28th. It's been 7 weeks, and Mom has been walking with a cane and trying to rely less on her walker. And, she's doing some driving, too. She says her back doesn't hurt, but now her hip is giving her trouble. She'll probably need hip replacement surgery at some point.
Sadly, our dog Sable passed away on August 27th. She had a heart murmur for a while, and I guess her heart just finally gave out. Unfortunately, I'm the one who found her in her pen when I got home from work. We buried her that weekend, and we have a nice monument with her name on it.
And, to update our cat, Reba, she is back at the house. So, that's a good thing.
