first update of '08

I haven't updated my blog since November, so I guess my first journal of 2008 comes in late-March. Oh well, not a whole lot to blog about anyway. My Mom, two brothers, and a sister-in-law are going on a cruise starting next Sunday (3/30). I'm not going, but I took the week off anyway, and I'll have the house to myself. I'm planning on going up to Atlanta the first weekend of April to see some old friends. Besides, somebody's gotta keep an eye on the pets. If I don't, I could be the one sleeping outside! LOL
Since the last blog, we had to put our oldest cat, Pookey, to sleep. If she had to made it to Christmas Day, she would have been 15. Turned out she had pancreatic cancer, so of course, we did the right thing putting her down. My cat, Fox, is now 11, but he's as active as he ever was!
Looks like we're going to Disney World in December. That should be a fun trip!
Maybe I'll update this blog a little more often. I'm gonna try to anyway!
